Team Availability
Each team member controls whether calls can ring them right now.
Before you start: A team member needs a phone number saved in Settings before any routing rule can dial them — and needs to be marked "Available" for a call to actually reach them.
The availability toggle
In Settings, every team member has an "Available for calls" switch — like a Slack status. When it's off, routing rules skip that person entirely and move on to the next one in the list (or to voicemail/AI if nobody else qualifies). This is manual by design: nobody else can turn your availability on or off for you, and it doesn't change automatically based on time of day.
How this interacts with routing rules
- A rule that dials team members tries them in the order you set on that rule.
- The first person who is both "Available" and has a phone number saved gets the call.
- If nobody qualifies, the call falls back to voicemail (or AI, if the rule is set up that way).
